Government lobbying progress: John Baron MP submitted an Early Day Motion supporting our case on 29th March 2007, which has been signed by 126 MPs. Our Downing Street petition which closed with 9,204 signatures received a response which was essentially a restatement of the policies that gave rise to the need for the petition in the first place! The Government seems to treat petitions as requests for information, rather than action. |
